JLL Adds Market Leader in NY Area

The company named Joseph Denn, an industry veteran with more than 30 years of project and development experience in the region, vice president & market leader.

Shortly after appointing Andrea Alexander as head in New Jersey, JLL has selected Joseph Denn as its newest vice president & market leader for its project and development services. In his new role, he will oversee the supervision of the project management group, new business development and project and development services across the greater New York region, reporting directly to Don Bucci, JLL managing director & head of project management.

Denn brings more than 30 years of project management experience to this role. His skills include value engineering, bid negotiations, government approvals, geotechnical services and estimating. Before becoming part of the JLL team, Denn worked as construction executive for Thelius Capital Partners and Blacksteel Group, with a focus on residential development for not-for-profit and private developers.

Previously, he served as founder & president of Cobble Creek Builders Inc., as well as president of Foresite Construction Corp./Foresite Services Group. Additionally, he serviced government entities with site surveying and pre-development services for affordable housing projects in New York City, Boston and Chicago. He was also senior vice president at Spectrum Skanska, where he dealt with strategic planning, financial and operational management, design and construction management.

The recently appointed executive earned a liberal arts degree at the State University of New York at Albany and holds a management supervision degree from Western Connecticut State University at Danbury. He is also a licensed builder in Connecticut, New Jersey and New York.
