JLL Appoints Southwest Director of Research

Holding more than a decade of industry experience, Schiada specializes in real estate economics, industry trends and real estate forecasting.

JLL has appointed Amber Schiada as director of research for the Southwest region. In her new role, she will manage a team of 11 analysts and oversee JLL’s Southwest research team across five markets: Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, Phoenix and Las Vegas. Schiada will be based in the company’s downtown Los Angeles office.

“In this ever-changing commercial real estate market and economy, our clients rely on JLL’s comprehensive analytical insights to make better business decisions,” said JLL Southwest Market Director Peter Belisle in prepared remarks. “Amber has the knowledge and leadership skills to take our Southwest research team to a new level.”

Schiada brings more than 11 years of real estate experience and specializes in real estate economics, industry trends and real estate forecasting. Previously, Schiada served as director of research for JLL’s Northern California region, leading a team of eight analysts working on five markets. In addition to her new role, she will also continue to co-lead all research initiatives for JLL’s U.S. High-Tech Practice Group. Schiada has extensive experience analyzing innovative companies, venture capital trends, high-tech labor market trends and the impact on real estate markets across the country.

Schiada holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in American Studies from the University of California at Berkeley. She is a member of the CREW Network, the Urban Land Institute and CoreNet Global.
