Norfolk, Va.JLL recently announced the expansion of its retail brokerage services in the Hampton Roads area with the appointment of Tom Dunn as vice president in its Norfolk office.

Dunn will focus his activity on retail leasing in Hampton Roads, Richmond and Charlottesville. He will be joined in JLL’s Hampton Roads office by three new associates: Tip Brown, Varoon Jain and Kristopher Kennedy.

Bringing 16 years of leasing, sale and retail development experience to the table, Dunn has completed, throughout his career, transactions encompassing more than 15 million square feet of commercial space. He holds a bachelor’s of science degree in economics from James Madison University.

Prior to joining JLL’s Norfolk office, he most recently served GVA Advantis as partner and senior director. Since 2011, he is the founder & owner of GreenLife Adventure Sports, an independent outdoor outfitter in Norfolk. Previous stints include positions with Tower Park Real Estate—as co-founder & SVP—and S.L. Nusbaum Realty Co.

“The growth of JLL’s Hampton Roads office reflects the robust market in the region driven by steady demand for real estate services,” Deborah Stearns, JLL senior vice president, said in prepared remarks. “Our Hampton Roads office represents more than 7.5 million square feet of office and industrial properties for sale or lease, and now with Tom on board we will be better able to provide superior retail services to our clients in the region.”
