JLL Expands Philadelphia Team with 2 New Additions

Philadelphia—JLL recently announced the addition of two new members to its Philadelphia team: Brett Grifo as senior vice president and Larry Maister as managing director, both in the company’s industrial brokerage department.
Grifo will focus on investment sales of office product along with managing director James Galbally. Prior to joining JLL, Grifo worked seven years at a public real estate investment trust, where he led acquisitions, dispositions and joint transactions worth a total of $2.2 billion. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in finance from the Robins School of Business at the University of Richmond and earned a Master’s Degree in Business from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University.
“Brett brings an added element of expertise to our integrated sales and finance platform in Philadelphia,” James Galbally said in prepared remarks. “It is imperative for us to continue to offer our clients the best talent in the industry. Brett will make a great addition to a team that has successfully completed more than $1 billion of transactions 2016.”
Maister recently served as senior director of leasing at Brandywine Realty Trust, being responsible for the leasing efforts for multiple portfolios in Delaware, Southern New Jersey, Pennsylvania Suburbs and most recently, University City. Maister is a member of the board of directors for Special Olympics Delaware and is actively involved in the Urban Land Institute and NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association.
“As Managing Director, Larry Maister brings more than two decades of commercial real estate leadership to Philadelphia’s Industrial brokerage team. Managing portfolios from Delaware to Philadelphia’s University City district, his breadth of experience will help JLL expand its imprint in both new and established territories across Greater Philadelphia,” Mike McCurdy, international director in the Philadelphia Market, said in a statement.
