JLL Introduces New Online News Site

JLL is giving commercial real estate watchers a new view or two–Real Views, to be precise. The commercial real estate services firm just launched Real Views, its online news site centered on trends, markets and economics as they pertain to the commercial real estate industry.
With Real Views, JLL will offer real estate knowledge and insights in a format that is more akin to telling a story than simply presenting news; educating audiences rather than promoting proprietary content.
“The way people consume news and information is changing. They look to respected sources for balanced views and Real Views brings them insights that touch real estate an engaging, customized, accessible format,” Gayle Kantro director of corporate communications with JLL, told Commercial Property Executive.
Real Views will be accessible from anywhere in the world via desktop and the full complement of mobile devices. Visitors will be able to peruse feature news articles penned by JLL staff and supported by analysis, expert opinion and research. They’ll also be able to view related videos and explore charts and slideshows. The multiple sources of information are designed to examine real estate’s impact on various industries, minor and major markets around the world, economics and trends such as smart workplaces and mass urbanization.
This is not a cosmetic makeover of a website; Real Views was created to be a substantive addition to JLL’s online offerings.
“The digital world is changing the way information is consumed and JLL is anticipating and meeting the demands of our audience by providing interesting insights that are accessible anywhere, anytime,” Kantro added. “Last year, we changed our name from Jones Lang LaSalle to JLL to meet the demands of communicating in the digital world. Real Views is another example of JLL being at the forefront of changing the way we communicate.”
