JLL Names New Head of NJ Team

Andrea Alexander will lead the firm's project and development services team, reporting directly to Terry Harris, managing director & regional COO.

Shortly after appointing a CEO for its Hotels & Hospitality Group, JLL has appointed Andrea Alexander as head of the project and development services of its New Jersey team. In her new role, she will oversee servicing clients, the supervision of the project management group, new business development, project and development services across the state, working along with the brokerage team. Additionally, she will report to Terry Harris, JLL managing director & regional COO.

Alexander brings more than 20 years of retail and office project management experience to this role. Throughout her career, she contributed to the construction of more than 1 million square feet and has worked with clients such as MBUSA, Maserati S.p.A. and Audi of America.

From June 2017, Alexander served as senior vice president of JLL’s project and development services team. The newly appointed executive joined the company in 2004, first as a project manager and was then promoted to senior project manager & vice president. Prior to that, she served as business development manager for Turner Interiors in New York. Her responsibilities included sourcing and securing interior renovation projects.

She holds a B.S. in civil engineering from Rutgers College of Engineering and an MBA in business administration from Fordham University. Additionally, Alexander is a licensed real estate salesperson in New Jersey, certified as a LEED Green Associate, a gala committee member for Special Olympics New York and a committee member for the United Way of Northern New Jersey’s Annual Commercial Real Estate Luncheon. Other roles include philanthropy chair for the JLL Women’s Business Network.
