JRM Construction Adds New Project Director

JRM Construction has selected Joseph Schimenti as its newest project director. In this new position, he will work closely with project team members and the design team, overseeing the material and equipment delivery, development, scheduling and budgeting process, in addition to reporting to clients. He will also conduct project close-outs.
“I am looking forward to working with the team at JRM and striving to exceed client’s expectations in terms of budgeting, scheduling and best-in-class results,” Schimenti said in a prepared statement.
Schimenti possesses more than 20 years of construction experience. He previously worked at Schimenti Construction Co., where he occupied estimating coordinator, project manager and managing director roles. Some of his most notable projects include Zara’s Fifth Avenue flagship store, H&M’s global flagship at Herald Square and ten stores at Westfield’s WorldTrade Center.
He holds a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Fairfield University and underwent project management training at the FMI Project Manager Academy and Leadership Institute. He also completed OSHA Safety Training and is a LEED Green Associate.
