Juwai.com Promotes New CEO as Co-Founders Henry, Taylor Step Down

Shanghai—Juwai.com, China’s leading international real estate portal recently announced that Chief Operating Officer Charles Pittar has been promoted to the position of chief executive officer. Co-founders Simon Henry and Andrew Taylor, having previously served as co-CEOs, will remain with the team.
Pittar joined the company in 2015 as chief operating officer, bringing with him extensive outside experience. His track record includes stints with Accenture, Microsoft, and successful start-up ONYX Software Corp. During the past 15 years, Pittar has worked for Goldman Sachs Hong Kong, Citigroup’s Asia Regional Management, and also served as COO for Macquarie Bank’s Asian division.
“Andrew and I are so proud that Juwai.com has reached the point where it can attract world-class talent like Charles,” co-founder Simon Henry said in prepared remarks. “We have full confidence in Charles’s ability to help us take the business to the next level of its development,” added Taylor.
