- May 11, 2017
Lone Star Funds and Aimbridge Hospitality completed its $55 million renovation project across 38 of its Aimbridge-managed Hyatt Place and Hyatt House properties.
Renovations included new and revitalized indoor and outdoor guest areas. Upgrades at the Hyatt Place locations featured new Cozy Corner sofa-sleeper sectionals, new bedding, carpeting and window furnishings, updated bathrooms with stand-alone showers, new furniture in the public spaces, technology upgrades, a revitalized breakfast and bar area and the addition of a 24/7 guest market. Upgrades at Hyatt House included the addition of the brand’s H Bar, featuring the Sip + Snack and Bar Bites + Shareables menus and upgrades to outdoor common areas to include barbecue and fire pits.
“We are extremely appreciative of the tireless efforts of Aimbridge Hospitality, our joint venture partner and manager, and Hudson Advisors, our servicer working in conjunction with the talented team at Hyatt to accomplish this impressive project. The Hyatt Place and Hyatt House select service hotels within our portfolio are now well positioned to capture increased market share while providing an exceptional guest experience consistent with the Hyatt brand,” said Hugh Ward III, senior managing director at Lone Star North America Acquisitions LLC, in prepared remarks.
