L.A. Realty Partners has negotiated a long-term lease renewal for international law firm Kaye Scholer L.L.P., which has signed a 10-year lease agreement for 42,000 square feet at Sun America Plaza in Century City, Calif.

The deal was handled by L.A. Realty Partners’ Gary Weiss and Christine McRoskey. Weiss said in a statement that the firm began the search and negotiation process more than a year ago and looked at a wide slate of properties, but ultimately chose to renew its lease. “Kaye Scholer decided to stay in one of the most prestigious buildings in L.A.,” Weiss said.

The landlord, Equity Office, was represented in-house by Andrew Goodman.

Founded in 2010, L.A. Realty Partners comprise a senior team of commercial real estate industry veterans with more than 200 years of collective experience.
