KB Home Appoints New President for Las Vegas Division

Las VegasKB Home, one of the leading homebuilders in the U.S. and industry leader in sustainability, has announced the appointment of Brian Kunec as president of the Las Vegas division. In this capacity, Kunec will be in charge of the company’s Las Vegas operations, including land acquisition, construction, sales and customer service.

“We are pleased to promote Brian Kunec to head one of KB Home’s most dynamic divisions. Brian joined KB Home nearly a year ago as executive vice president, and brings a wealth of unique local and national homebuilding knowledge to our business. I believe his broad experience and proven leadership will be invaluable as KB Home continues to grow in Las Vegas,” Matt Mandino, regional president of KB Home, said in prepared remarks.

Kunec holds more than a decade of residential construction experience under his belt, having worked alongside major homebuilders across the nation. In addition, he holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in business and economics from Lafayette College in Pennsylvania and is currently serving on the board of the southern Nevada Home Builders Association.

Kunec’s predecessor, Rob McGibney, who served in this role for more than five years, has been promoted as regional general manager for the Arizona division, based out of Phoenix.
