KeyCorp’s commercial real estate business unit, KeyBank Real Estate Capital, has hired Allison Recker and Sarah Johnson as senior vice presidents and senior bankers within Key’s Income Property Group. They will be based in the company’s Denver office and will report to Central Regional Executive, Alex Buecking.
“Allison and Sarah have extensive experience in commercial real estate finance and lending with established client relationships in the Colorado markets,” said Buecking. “Their proven track records provide us with the opportunity to continue expanding our integrated platform and we look forward to their contributions to our team.”
With more than 15 years of experience in commercial real estate lending, Recker joins KeyBank from UMB Bank, where she served as senior vice president for nearly two years. Prior to that, she worked as SVP at Vectra Bank Colorado, where she was responsible for originating and structuring loans, as well as managing commercial real estate relationships. She earned a B.S. in finance from the University of Illinois.
Johnson brings more than 11 years of commercial real estate finance and lending experience. Prior to joining KeyBank, she worked at Triton Investment Co., as director of real estate finance. Johnson was responsible for investment management, project management and assisting with acquisitions and dispositions. Johnson owns a B.S. degree in business administration from the University of Colorado.
KeyBank Real Estate Capital recently originated $12.5 million in CMBS, first mortgage loans for a three-property self-storage portfolio totaling 185,172 square feet in Colorado and Michigan.
