“Residence Inn by Marriott London Kensington … not only is it the largest Residence Inn in Europe, but it is the third largest in the world, and a flagship property for the brand,” John Licence, vice president, Premium and Select Brands Europe at Marriott International, said in a prepared statement. “London is a key market for extended-stay travel and we are delighted to launch the city’s second Residence Inn following last year’s opening of Residence Inn by Marriott London Bridge.”

Back in November 2017, Marriott opened the 194-key Residence Inn Miami Sunny Isles Beach, a 19-story building. The company has also expanded into other European markets such as France, with the opening of Residence Inn Toulouse-Blagnac.
