Lightstone Names New SVP to Lead Debt Platform

Eugene Rozovsky, who joined the company last year, will be in charge of real estate debt strategies. He previously worked at Madison Realty Capital and Hudson Realty Capital.

Lightstone has selected Eugene Rozovsky as its newest senior vice president of real estate debt strategies. In his new role, he will be in charge of Lightstone Capital, the company’s new real estate debt platform, launched this year.

Rozovsky joined the company in 2018. Prior to that, he worked as vice president of acquisitions & asset management at Madison Realty Capital, where he contributed to the closing of more than over $2 billion in transactions. From 2011 to 2013, he was an associate with Hudson Realty Capital. Between 2007 and 2011, Rozovsky served as an associate at The Blackstone Group. He started his career as TM Capital in 2005 as an analyst.

The recently appointed executive holds an M.S. in real estate finance and investment from New York University and a B.S. in finance and international business from NYU Stern School of Business.

Eugene’s experience and industry knowledge will undoubtedly be a huge asset to Lightstone,” Lightstone President Mitchell Hochberg said in a prepared statement. “He brings the leadership and insight needed to help us launch and grow Lightstone Capital, and we are thrilled to welcome him to the company.”
