Liquid Technology Expands to Chicago Area

Liquid Technology, an IT asset disposition service provider, has opened its second facility nationwide. The company chose Bensenville, Ill., to expand their footprint beyond New York. The opening of the new 19,400-square-foot facility is expected to create up to 15 new job opportunities in the area.

The property is located at 487 Thomas Drive, near O’Hare International Airport. According to Yardi Matrix data, Investcorp bought the two buildings at 290-300 Beeline Drive and 483-489 Thomas Drive in 2018, part of a larger portfolio transaction. The assets were completed between 1974 and 1981 and feature clear heights of up to 18 feet. Brennan Investment Group provides management services.
Chicago being Liquid Technology’s second largest market, with many customers coming from FinTech, trading, exchanges and pharmaceuticals markets, the company is expected to process up to 10,000 pieces of tech equipment monthly. The location of the property is strategic for Liquid Technology’s Chicago-area customers, as it provides connectivity to the new Western Bypass and Chicagoland’s interstate system as well as the airport.
