Logitech Inks 263,500-SF Lease

The firm, which works in Internet communications, digital music, home entertainment and wireless devices, will occupy the Pacific Research Center in Newark, Calif., through at least February 2023.

BioMed Realty Trust Inc has signed a new lease with tech firm Logitech Inc. at the Pacific Research Center in Newark, Calif. The company took 263,543 square feet at the center.

The lease extends through February 2023.

Over the last 12 months, BioMed has leased more than 387,000 square feet at the Pacific Research Center, which bills itself as a high-quality campus in a prime location attracting life science and technology firms.

According to BioMed chairman & CEO Alan Gold, Logitech exemplifies the major organizations in the center. The firm works in personal computer navigations, Internet communications, digital music, home entertainment and wireless devices.

Logitech vice president of real estate Ron Haskins added that the property offers major amenities for employees in an attractive office environment. Founded in 1981, Logitech is a Swiss public firm.
