Majestic Realty has signed a long-term, 166,620-square-foot lease with its first tenant at the recently developed Majestic Badger Logistics Center in Pleasant Prairie, Wis. The tenant, CTDI, expects to hire 150 new employees in its new space in the park’s first building. John Morrissey of Jackson Cross Partners acted on behalf of CTDI in the transaction.

Located at 8801 88th Ave., the 424,164-square-foot Chicago-area cross-dock warehouse finished construction in December of 2016 and is situated two and a half miles east of Interstate 94 and four miles north of the Illinois border. The facility features clear heights up to 36 feet, 50-foot by 52-foot bay spacing with 60-foot speed bays, 76 loading docks and four drive-in doors. The property also includes 292 parking spaces and 135- to 235-foot truck courts, according to Yardi Matrix.

Future development plans

The company is planning to build an 801,444-square-foot build-to-suit distribution center on the southern edge of the 91-acre parcel. Plans for the industrial park’s second building include another cross-dock facility with 135 loading doors, 185-foot fenced truck courts and 111 trailer and 260 car parking spaces.

“While Badger represents our first Wisconsin project to be developed, we’re excited to officially have our flag flying in this region and see this project as a stepping stone for our future growth plans in the Midwest market,” said Taylor Talt, vice president of Majestic Realty, in a prepared statement.
