Marshall Hotels & Resorts opened the 162-key Grand River Hotel in Grand Rapids, Mich. Along with the Sunset Park Hotel in New York, this property marks Marshall’s second Ascend Hotel Collection member.

Located at 270 Ann St. Northwest, the seven-story hotel is near local attractions such as 20 Monroe Live, Van Andel Arena, DeltaPlex, Fifth Third Ballpark, Art Van Sports Complex, Downtown Market and the Gerald Ford Museum. The Gerald R. Ford International Airport is also about 20 minutes away. Guest rooms feature in-room microwaves and refrigerators. The Grand River Hotel also houses the River Rock Dining & Lounge.

“This also marks the first, new full-service hotel to enter the marketplace in seven years, providing Grand Rapids with a much-desired destination for both leisure and business travelers to the area,” said Marshall Hotels & Resorts President & CEO Mike Marshall, in prepared remarks.
