MCA Realty has acquired an 8-acre parcel in Temecula, Calif., on which it plans to develop a 140,000-square-foot industrial building. The company plans to break ground on MCA Business Center this month and expects to complete the project in the fourth quarter of this year. Roger Carlson of CBRE and Scott Stewart of Lee & Associates represented the company in the land acquisition. They have also been retained to lead the leasing efforts for MCA Business Center.

The facility, located in close proximity to the Interstate 15, within the Westside Business Center, will be the first industrial development build in Temecula in almost a decade, according to MCA Realty. The asset will feature 32-foot clear heights, 120-foot truck courts, as well as 15 dock-high loading doors. It will also be designed to accommodate more than one tenant.

“By creating a product that can accommodate a variety of tenants we hope to capitalize on growing occupant demand throughout the region,” MCA Realty Principal Tyler Mattox said in prepared remarks.

In addition to California, MCA Realty has recently been expanding in Las Vegas with its acquisition of two industrial properties in February for $18.3 million.
