McCormick Aims High with 3 Parking Projects in Burbank
- Sep 07, 2016
Los Angeles—McCormick Construction has announced three parking structure development projects in Burbank, Calif. They are designed to optimize resources such as space and time, while matching the adjacent buildings’ aesthetics.
Nickelodeon Animation Studio’s employees will benefit from a 450-stall, 129,000-square-foot, five-story parking garage, which is a design-assist with Clark Pacific, DLR Group and Englekirk. McCormick used the precast concrete system to minimize costs. The new structure mirrors the glass fiber-reinforced concrete (GFRC) finish on the main office building.
Another project is currently under construction at 800 S. Flower St. Developed and owned by Cusumano Real Estate Group, the 178,444-square-foot structure has been designed to support up to 525 vehicles. Upon completion, the facility will also feature a green screen system with live plants on its outer walls.
The third project will serve the employees and clients of CSATF at 2800 Winona Ave. The 437-stall project will accommodate the non-profits’ increased scope of activity. The organization administers programs and benefits for motion picture and television industry union workers. The five-story building will offer 157,323 square feet of space designed to house specific equipment used in training programs such as aerial lift and scissor lift operations.
