Medical Office Building in Metro Detroit Sold for $6.6M

Clarkston, Mich.—Farmington Hills-based Friedman Integrated Real Estate Solutions extended a helping hand in the sale of a Class B medical office building in Clarkston, Oakland County.
Rich Deptula, national director of investor advisory services at Friedman, negotiated the $6.6 million sale of the Mid-Oakland Medical Center on behalf of the seller, an unnamed CMBS special services. Friedman brokered the sale through Auction.com.
According to REBusinessOnline, Friedman also represented the buyer, Esox Exploration LLC.
Completed in the mid-1990s, the three-story medical office building is located on 7.79 acres at 6770 Dixie Highway, north of M-15 and with easy access to I-75 and Dixie Highway (US-24). The asset offers 105,717 square feet of medical office space that yields around $15 per square foot annually. Pharmacy, radiology, oncology, MRI and lab services are available on site.
The roster of tenants at Mid-Oakland Medical Center includes McLaren Health Corp, DaVita Healthcare partners Inc. and Trinity health.
