A trio of developments will soon break ground in a live/work mixed-use project that is believed to be the first of its kind in the city of Maitland.

Maitland City Centre, a $66 million community across the street from the City Hall and Festival Street, is the initiative of The Allen Morris Co. which joined forces with local firms, Millenia Partners and Lamm & Co. Partners.  Lamm & Co. Partners was named general contractor for the development in joint venture with family-owned construction firm Walker & Co.

Located just 10 miles from Downtown Orlando, the six-story development was designed Winter Park-based by ACi in Santa Fe Mission style and it will encompass a three-acre full city block. According to the developers, it will offer around 35,000 square feet of rentable commercial space with high visibility and an average daily traffic count of 46,000 vehicles when complete. Plans also call for 220 one- and two-bedroom apartments and 24 live/work units with a bedroom and an office. The residences ranging in size 700 to 1,300 square feet will cost between $1,300 and $2,400 monthly.

Amenities at Maitland City Centre will include a courtyard pool with sundeck and cabanas, a multi-purpose fitness facility, a 24-hour business center and conference rooms. The development is expected to break ground this fall and it is slated for occupancy in spring, 2017.
