More homes are coming to Cincinnati. Two developers plan to star work in the coming months on almost 300 new homes.

M/I Homes of Cincinnati L.L.C., one of the largest home builders in the region, plans to build a, 140-acre single-family community on the east side of the intersection of Princeton and Butler-Warren roads, in Deerfield Township. Called Roberts Park, the community will feature 189 ranch and two-story homes, each with its own basement, as well as other amenities.

The Cincinnati Business Courier reports that M/I Homes plans to invest $80 million in the project. Greg Williams, president of the firm, told the newspaper that infrastructure improvements at the site are scheduled to start this month, with the construction of the first home expected to begin in December or January. Roberts Park will be developed in four phases.

M/I Homes will first start work on the 95-foot-wide lots, as it believes that larger homes are more in demand at the moment. These homes will range in price from $400,000 to $600,000. Phase II , scheduled to start next summer, also includes 72 feet wide lots. Prices for those smaller homes will range between the mid-$300,000s to about $500,000.

The Business Courier also reported that developer David Sehlhorst is working on creating a $30 million community in Sayler Park. Called Winding Walks of Sayler Park, the community will occupy 26 acres on Hillside Avenue and will feature 100 homes. The cost of the project is $30 million.

Winding Walks of Sayler Park broke ground last month. It will be developed in four phases, over the next three years. According to the Business Courier, David Sehlhorst has invited Roell Building and Remodeling and CW Custom Homes to build at the site. The first lots are expected to be ready for construction early next year.

Homes will be a minimum of 1,500 square feet in size, with no upper limit. They will feature two-car garages, LEED certtification and prices averaging $300,000. Winding Walks will also include more than 3.5 acres of green space.
