MoneyGram International has relocated its corporate headquarters from St. Louis Park, Minnesota to Dallas’ Harwood District. The new quarters, located at 2828 North Harwood, span 45,842 square feet.

According to MoneyGram executive vice president of human resources and corporate services Steve Piano, the location is well suited to the firm as it continues to grow and evolve its business.

Harwood vice president of leasing and development Jihane Boury and Harwood executive vice president David Roehm negotiated the lease, while Jones Lang LaSalle colleagues Jeff Staubach and Brooke Armstrong, respectively senior vice president and vice president, represented MoneyGram.

Staubach said that Dallas’ central geography, growing population and large talent pool were all factors in the decision to locate in Harwood. MoneyGram will occupy two floors of the Class A building, which was developed by Harwood International.

An international money transfer firm, MoneyGram has more than 203,000 agent locations in 190 countries and territories.
