Moss to Carry out Penn-Florida’s Via Mizner Project in Bocal Raton

Penn-Florida has recently awarded Moss & Associates a construction contract for the first phase of its 830,000-square-foot Via Mizner mixed-use development in downtown Boca Raton.

Headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, the contractor is a privately-held construction firm with several successful projects in Palm Beach County, including the Boca Raton Resort, Harbourside Place in Jupiter, City Place South Tower in West Palm Beach, and Publix in the Town of Palm Beach. Its wider portfolio includes luxury high-rise residential, landmark mixed-use developments, hospitality, primary and higher education, justice and solar energy facilities. The company is focused on construction management at-risk, design-build and public-private partnerships and operates 11 regional offices over the U.S.

Located at 998 South Federal Highway, the project in the popular Silver Palm Park district is just one mile from the beach. The 366-unit, 14-story Mediterranean-style luxury apartment building to be constructed in phase one encompasses 458,000 square feet along with 18,000 square feet of street-level retail and office space. The complex will also include a 254,000 square-foot covered parking garage. The amenities deck on the fifth floor will boast a heated pool, private reflecting pool and lounge area, clubroom, gym, yoga studio, café and locker rooms.

The range of residences will include one-, two-, and three-bedroom units, each one featuring a balcony with a view of the city, the Atlantic Ocean or the adjacent golf course. Urvanx, a Miami-based architecture firm, designed phase one. A five-star hotel and luxury condominium residences will be built in the subsequent phases.
