Hoguet Newman Regal & Kenney LLP has signed a 12,700-square-foot, full-floor office lease at One Grand Central Place, with owner and manager Empire State Realty Trust (ESRT). Hoguet is a law firm focusing on litigation and is ranked the fourth-largest certified women-owned law firm in the New York as of 2016.
One Grand Central Place, formerly known as the Lincoln Building, is a 53-story iconic skyscraper in Midtown Manhattan. Completed in 1930 and located opposite Grand Central Terminal, the building is the 49th tallest building in New York, as of 2013.
“Hoguet was drawn to OGCP’s location, convenient in-building access to Grand Central Terminal and five subway lines, as well as the expansive views from their 48th floor offices,” said Thomas Durels, executive vice president & director of leasing and operations for ESRT, in prepared remarks. “Tenants enjoy in-building amenities including a new tenant-only conference center and dining options that consist of Pera Mediterranean Brasserie, Blue Bottle Coffee and 6B.”
Stephen Gordon of Newmark Knight Frank represented Hoguet in the lease negotiations, while Julie Christiano and Lindsay Godard represented ESRT, along with William Cohen, Brittany Silver and Jamie Jacobs of Newmark Knight Frank.
