Opus Appoints New VP of Real Estate Development

Phoenix—The Opus Group of Minneapolis recently announced that appointment of Dustin Slack as vice president of real estate development for Opus Development Co. LLC.
Prior to joining Opus, Slack served as vice president of multifamily for Forestar Group, where he was responsible for the pursuit, acquisition and development of multifamily sites. Slack resume also includes positions with McShane Development Co., Trammell Crow Residential, GFF Architects, JPI Cos., and Womack + Hampton Multifamily Architects.
“Dustin is a seasoned real estate developer who brings incredible value to our team,” Larry Pobuda, senior vice president & general manager of Opus Development, said in a prepared release. “His background allows him to pursue a wide spectrum of development opportunities, and he is a welcome addition as we continue to grow our portfolio of projects in the Phoenix market and across the region.”
Slack has more than two decades of experience in real estate development and architecture under his belt, and is a member of the National Multi-Housing Council and the Urban Land Institute. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of Texas at Austin, and a Master’s degree in business administration from the Southern Methodist University.
