Opus Promotes Mike Yungerman to VP & General Manager

In his new role, Yungerman will use his 12-year experience with the company to manage the Chicago team and to oversee and expand Opus’s portfolio in the area.

The Opus Group promoted Mike Yungerman to vice president & general manager of the Chicago office. In his new role, Yungerman, who has been part of the company for 12 years, will oversee Opus’s operations and portfolio in the region, as well as pursue new development opportunities in Illinois, Wisconsin and Michigan.

Portoflio Worth More Than $1B

In his 12 years spent at Opus, he took part in several speculative building projects such as the Gateway Logistics Center, Airwest 12 and 14, Rickenbacker 7 and 8 and Minooka Ridge Business Center and worked with clients such as ConAgra Foods, HP, Maxzone Auto Parts and Renishaw.

Yungerman has held several executive roles for the past 23 years, having previously worked for Landmark Healthcare Facilities as senior vice president of development and for Northern Builders as vice president of development. His portfolio includes 21 million square feet of industrial, office and medical projects which, together, amass to more than $1 billion. He is also a member of NAIOP, the Association of Industrial Real Estate Brokers and the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors.
