Panattoni Develops Massive Industrial Park in Nashville
- Nov 16, 2015
Leading industrial real estate developer Panattoni Development Company Inc. has acquired a 44-acre tract in Nashville, where it plans to build an industrial park. JLL will serve as exclusive leasing agent of the new speculative development, Skyline Distribution Park.
With three buildings totaling 600,000 square feet, the Skyline Distribution Park will be located immediately north of downtown on Brick Church Pike, and will accommodate users ranging in size from 20,000 square feet to 375,000 square feet.
“With greater than 30,000 people moving to Nashville annually, the need for more quality warehouse space close to the city center continues to grow accordingly,” Bo Fulk, vice president of JLL Nashville, said in prepared remarks. “Simply put, demand is outpacing supply. Skyline Distribution Park will be perfectly positioned to service Nashville and the region as a whole. Visible from I-24 and I-65, tenants of Skyline will have direct access to downtown Nashville, I-24, I-65 and I-40 via Briley Parkway.”
Construction on the Skyline Distribution Park is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2016. The project marks the first Class A speculative warehouse product to be built inside of Davidson County in over six years.
The JLL team in charge of the leasing assignment includes Vice President Bo Fulk and Associate Broker Jimmy Armistead. The team will work closely with Jeff Konieczny, development manager of Panattoni.
