Peloton to Open North Dallas Office
- May 18, 2018
Peloton, a fitness technology firm, has signed a 27,518-square-foot lease at Legacy Central in Plano, Texas, for a regional campus. This will be the New York-based company’s first support hub outside of its home state. Peloton is set to hire up to 400 people at its new location, which is expected to open in the third quarter. CBRE Senior Associate Noreen Mehdi Weathers and Senior Vice President Baron Aldrine negotiated the lease on behalf of the tenant, while Transwestern’s Nathan Durham represented the landlord, Regent Properties.
Located at 6600 Chase Oaks Blvd., the 200,000-square-foot building is part of Regent’s technology-oriented and mixed-use campus in Plano, encompassing roughly 1 million square feet of office space. The complex features a 25,000-square-foot wellness center, a 15,000-square-foot conference center, a 400-seat food hall and more than 2,000 parking spaces. According to Yardi Matrix data, Regent acquired the asset in late 2015 from Texas Instruments and selected Transwestern to handle management and leasing duties.
Legacy Central is situated on 84 acres near U.S. Route 75 and within walking distance of multiple restaurants, including Mei Mei China Restaurant and Taste of the Islands.
The new deal comes about a month after Samsung leased 216,000 square feet at Building 4 within the office campus. The electronics giant plans to relocate more than 1,000 employees form its Richardson location.
