Perth, Australia—Managed by InterContinental Hotels Group, the redeveloped Holiday Inn Perth City Centre is officially open to the public. Owned by partners George Atzemis and Con Berbatis, the $25 million project includes 181 refurbished guestrooms, an additional five new rooms, seven refurbished conference rooms, ground floor lobby including an Ivy & Jack restaurant and bar and a $850,000 purpose-built canopy designed to enhance the guest experience by extending over the car bays in front of the hotel.

The redevelopment project was directed by JAXON Construction with architectural services by Bollig Design Group.

“We have been proud members and active participants in the Western Australian tourism industry for many years. We have a commitment to the region so it is a pleasure working with George and Con to bring this investment to life,” stated Karin Sheppard, COO of InterContinental Hotels Group, Australia and Asia.
