Phillips Edison-Arc Taps Addy as COO

Mark Addy is back in a role he previously held at shopping-center firm Phillips Edison, having served as COO from 2004 to 2010. Prior to that, he was senior vice president.

Phillips Edison-ARC Shopping Center REIT has named Mark Addy as chief operating officer. Addy will also serve as president of Phillips Edison NTR L.L.C.

Addy, who served as COO of Phillips Edison & Co. from 2004 to 2010 and senior vice president from 2002 to 2004, previously practiced law with Santen & Hughes in commercial real estate, financing and leasing, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate law. He served as president of the firm from 1996 to 2002.

In his new position, Addy will work to integrate the asset management services provided by Phillips Edison & Co., which is a co-sponsor of the Phillips Edison-ARC Shopping Center REIT. Those services include acquisitions, due diligence, leasing and property management as well as investor relations.

According to Phillips Edison-ARC co-chairman of the board & chief executive officer Jeffrey Edison, Addy is the most experiencd member of Phillips Edison & Co., and will serve the company well in its growth-related endeavors.

Addy received his undergraduate degree in environmental science and chemistry from Bowling Green State University and his law degree from the University of Toledo.
