Choice Hotels has opened its Rodeway Inn Osceola 50 miles north of Memphis, Tenn., in the town of Osceola, Ark. The property—which had previously operated under the Fairview Inn flag—is owned by Yogesh and Leena Shah, who acquired it in 2012 for $467,000. The owners operate two other Choice Hotel franchised properties.

Located at 4565 W. Keiser Ave., the property sits at the western edge of Osceola. Situated near the entrance to Interstate 55, the building sits directly next to a number of other hospitality properties, including an Econo Lodge, a Days Inn & Suites and a Deerfield Inn & Suites. Huddle House, a 24-hour diner-style restaurant, is located right next to the hotel.

“The opening of the 600th Rodeway Inn hotel reflects a continued commitment to offer both guests and our franchisees an affordable lodging option in key locations across the country,” said Craig Mustard, head of economy brands at Choice Hotels, in a prepared statement.

Last fall, a Rodeway Inn in Pendleton, Ore., sold for $649,000, according to public records.
