Savills Adds Monahan to NYC Office

Private real estate firm Monday Properties has tapped former Jones Lang LaSalle vice president Jordan Berger as the firm’s new director in its New York office.

David Monahan has joined U.K-based international real estate advisor Savills as a senior vice president in the firm’s New York City office. In his new role, Monahan will focus on retail and office sales transactions. Before joining Savills, Monahan served as managing director for DTZ Rockwood, where he arranged some $5 billion of equity real estate deals, and, most recently, with Lend Lease Real Estate Investments, where he served with the investment sales group. 

“The sale of retail and office assets is a critical part of our real estate investment banking platform,” said Savills executive managing director Gerard Mason. “David Monahan brings a depth of experience… the includes a wide spectrum of property types, investors and markets.”

During his career, Monahan has also worked with firms including General Growth Properties, Heitman, ING Clarion, Investcorp and Morgan Stanley.
