Self-Storage Keeps on Keeping in Orange County

Trico and Hard Hat are teaming up for the construction of 94,000 net rentable square feet of self-storage space in Garden Grove, Calif.

Irvine, Calif.—Trico Capital Investments Inc. has acquired a 64,705-square-foot industrial building in Garden Grove, Calif.

Progressive Realty Partners Inc. represented Trico in the transaction and will hire Hard Hat Inc. as a general contractor. Plans call for the construction of a second floor within the existing 21-foot high industrial building. The expansion will bring 94,000 net rentable square feet of self-storage space.

Trico intends to take advantage of the dense Orange County market, where demand for self-storage units continues to grow. In Orange County, the company also owns a facility at Beach Blvd. in Westminster, which is almost 100 percent occupied.
