Signature Bank has signed a lease for 91,181 square feet at Empire State Realty Trust’s (ESRT) 1400 Broadway in New York City. The commercial bank will occupy the sixth, seventh, and 27th floors at the 37-story office tower.

The building was constructed in 1930 and comprises a total of 919,405 square feet. In 2010, the asset underwent a complete renovation. It is located within minutes of two metro stations and Times Square is within a five-minute walk. The property also features 18,000 square feet of retail space.

“Signature Bank joins a growing roster of exciting tenants at 1400 Broadway that includes Uber and Fragomen,” said Thomas Durels, executive vice president of real estate for ESRT. “Fully modernized and with a newly expanded lobby, 1400 Broadway offers convenient access to mass transportation and shops and restaurants along Broadway’s pedestrian plaza, and in-building dining options like Maison Kayser. With four full floors that we are currently marketing, 1400 is one of our most active buildings.”

Andrew Roos, Michael Cohen and Howard Kaplowitz of Colliers International represented Signature Bank in the deal. Landlord representation was provided by Keith Cody and Leslie Nadel of ESRT, along with Newmark Knight Frank’s Scott Klau, Erik Harris and Neil Rubin.

In February, ESRT leased the entire 12th floor of 1400 Broadway to rideshare giant Uber.
