Simply Self Storage Appoints Dave Marzocchi as VP of Development

Orlando–Dave Marzocchi recently joined Simply Self Storage as vice president of development.
Prior to joining Simply Self Storage, Marzocchi was the senior vice president of construction for Public Storage from 2005 until 2015, where he was fully responsible for facility development and construction nationwide. Marzocchi also managed all major facility renovations and redevelopment projects for the organization. Previously, he was the director of construction for Home Depot from 1997 until 2005, where he was responsible for new store construction across 17 western states for two divisions. He was directly responsible for facility maintenance, store planning and property management for 286 stores.
“David has as much experience in the construction of self-storage properties as anyone in the industry and we are excited that he is joining the Simply team,” Kurt O’Brien, CEO of Simply Self Storage, said in prepared remarks.
Founded in 2003 by Kurt O’Brien, Simply Self Storage is headquartered in Orlando and ranks as one of the largest privately owned self-storage companies in the United States and Puerto Rico. The company has over 15 million square feet of storage space with 192 operating self-storage facilities.
