The SKAE Group has acquired a facility in Orangeburg, N.Y., from Verizon Wireless in a sale-leaseback deal.

Located at 2000 Corporate Drive, the 255,000-square-foot property features a data center and office space. Situated on 34 acres, the asset is situated in an area seeing growth in the data center market.

“This transaction was an important strategic move for SKAE,” said John McPartland, managing member of SKAE, in prepared remarks. “Adding this facility to our data center and real estate portfolio increases our footprint in the territory, allowing us to better service our clients.”

Last year, Verizon opened a new store in North Haven, Conn., marking Cellular Sales’ eighth location in Connecticut.
