Skanska Invests $90M in Denmark Hotel Project

The 357-key hotel will comprise around 275,000 square feet of space. Construction is scheduled to begin in January 2018 and completed by September 2020.

Skanska is investing about $90 million in a new hotel project in Copenhagen, Denmark. The hotel will be leased by Scandic, who has signed a 20-year lease agreement. 

Located in Scanport close to Copenhagen airport, the 357-key hotel will comprise around 275,000 square feet of space, with 201,000 square feet dedicated to hotel and conference facilities and a 73,000-square-foot basement and parking garage. 

The company will be working in partnership with contractor KPC København A/S. Construction is scheduled to begin in January 2018 and completed by September 2020. 

Recently, Skanska shelled out $56 million for phase I of Nowy Rynek, a mixed-use development in Poznan, Poland.
