Sonnenblick-Eichner Closes Seattle Hotel Sale

Sonnenblick-Eichner Co. secured the sale of Hampton Inn Seattle/Southcenter, a 153-key hotel in Tukwila, Wash. The company worked on behalf of the seller. A Pacific Northwest-based investor bought the asset in an all-cash transaction.
Hampton Inn Seattle/Southcenter features more than 700 square feet of meeting rooms. Additional common area amenities include:
- business center
- baggage storage
- coin laundry
- fitness center
- seasonal pool
Located at 7200 S. 156th St., the property offers convenient access to downtown Seattle and to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. Additionally, the hotel is close to major companies including Boeing, American Express Travel and Home Depot. Within minutes, there are a number of sports stadiums including Museum of Flight, Elliot Bay Waterfront and the famous Pike Place Market.
“This is the third hotel sale that Sonnenblick-Eichner Company represented the seller. The other hotels include the Dream Inn, Santa Cruz, California, and the Dupont Plaza Hotel in Washington, D.C.,” Patrick Brown, a principal of Sonnenblick-Eichner Co., said in prepared remarks.
Sonnenblick-Eichner Co.’s latest activity was to secure a $165 million loan for 1.3 million-square-foot airport industrial park in Oahu, Hawaii.
