Stainless Steel Supplier Renews 210 KSF Lease in Houston

The company has been leasing the 2008-built Class A industrial facility for 10 years. The warehouse is part of Railwood Industrial Park in the northeastern part of the metro.

JLL has completed the 210,850-square-foot lease renewal of Global Stainless Supply’s Houston headquarters. GSS, an international distributor of stainless steel products, has been leasing 8900 Railwood Drive, which is part of Railwood Industrial Park in northeast Houston, for 10 years. 

Completed in 2008, the warehouse is a Class A industrial building in Houston’s northeast industrial submarket, which currently has a limited availability rate. The asset includes approximately 8,000 square feet of office space, 24 dock-high doors, 28-foot clear height, an outside storage space and 128 parking spaces. Interstate 610 is within 3 miles and the interchange with interstate 10 is within 6 miles of the facility. 

JLL’s Ryan Fuselier, who was also involved in the sale of a nearby rail-served warehouse last year, and Jeff Venghaus represented the tenant in the negotiations. Kelly Landwermeyer of Holt Lunsford worked on behalf of the landlord, CenterPoint Properties, in arranging the deal. “The overall location and specific features of this building continue to be the right fit for their company, customers and employees,” said Fuselier, in a prepared statement.
