Stockdale Capital Refinances 2 Aloft Hotels

Each hotel offers free Wi-Fi, free on-site parking, a Re:charge gym, a Splash outdoor pool, SPG keyless room entry, a W XYZ bar, live music and meeting spaces.

San Francisco & Phoenix—Stockdale Capital Partners has announced the refinancing of two Aloft hotels, one in Silicon Valley, Calif., and one in Tempe, Ariz. The financing was secured through the Phoenix, Ariz., office of MidFirst Bank, an Oklahoma City, Okla.-based portfolio lender.

Aloft Silicon Valley, located at 8200 Gateway Blvd. in Newark, Calif., is a 172-key full service hotel that was renovated and converted to the Aloft brand in March 2013. The hotel sits next to the 1.4 million-square-foot Pacific Research Center, a major life science and technology campus owned by Biomed Realty.

Aloft Tempe, located at 951 E. Playa Del Norte Drive in Tempe, Ariz., is a 136-key hotel developed by Stockdale and opened in 2009. The property is close to a 2 million-square-foot regional campus in the final stage of development for State Farm Insurance and is within a few miles of the Arizona State University campus, downtown Tempe and Sky Harbor International Airport.
