Homebuilder and developer Taylor Morrison recently debuted its first metropolitan Austin project for the 55-and-up set in the Round Rock. Six model homes are open for tours in the community, dubbed Heritage at Vizcaya.

Round Rock is the winner of the Comprehensive Planning Award and CMA Savvy Award for Community Visioning. The active lifestyle community is located at 4900 Fiore Trail near Seton Medical Center and Texas A&M Health and Science Center, and offers easy access to major employment centers. Shopping, dining, and entertainment venues are nearby.

Homebuyers can choose from three series: the Landmark, Pinnacle, and Summit. Homes range in size from about 1,536 to 3,046 square feet and in price from $264,990 to $382,990. Twelve single-story floor plans are available in all.

Community amenities include an onsite lifestyle director to help plan activities, clubhouse with catering kitchen, fitness facilities, pool, hot tub, fire pit with seating and barbecue space, tennis courts, bocce ball and pickle ball court, and walking trails.

The 477-acre lot will see a second lineup of homes, the all-ages Homestead collection. Vizcaya will yield more than 1,200 home sites and four Taylor Morrison product lines when finished.
