Thompson Creek Relocates MD HQ

The company has kept its Lanham footprint by moving 150 employees to a recently purchased and renovated Class A office building.

Thompson Creek Window Co. has relocated its headquarters and 150 employees to a 122,000-square-foot premier office building in Lanham, Md. The company moved from the nearby 5000 Philadelphia Way after purchasing the asset in a joint venture with Chesapeake Real Estate Group in 2017.

Located at 4200 Parliament Place, the building sits 30 minutes away from downtown Washington, D.C. The New Carrollton train station with its Amtrak, MARC and Metro Rail services provide easy and quick access throughout the area. Nearby amenities include the 400,000-square-foot Vista Gardens Marketplace, retailers, eateries and a recreation center.

Recently refurbished

The six-story building was constructed in 1989 and underwent a series of recent renovations, including a refurbished lobby and common areas, a new conference center facility and tenant deli, as well as a modernly equipped fitness facility and new landscaped exterior. The property also includes 12 corner offices per floor, locker rooms with showers, a surface parking lot and a parking garage.
