TMG Partners recently acquired 1330 Broadway in downtown Oakland, further expanding its Bay Area footprint. Following the closing of the deal, the new owner will renovate the building to reposition the asset. Cushman & Wakefield representatives John Dolby and Dane Hooks handled the transaction on behalf of both Zimmerman and TMG Partners.

An example of the International Style of architecture, the 18-story, 300,000-square-foot building shares design characteristics with other Bay Area buildings, such as One Bush St. in San Francisco.

TMG plans to renovate 1330 Broadway’s interior, main lobby, common areas, elevators and building systems. Upgrades are also in store for the property’s bike parking and conference rooms, and a new art program and a retail tenant will be added to enhance the property’s appeal.
