After recently promoting Justin Brasell as executive vice president, Transwestern has appointed Thomas Wittenberg as senior vice president of the company’s health-care advisory services group, which operates from 19 cities and includes more than 130 members. In his new position, Wittenberg, a licensed real estate professional and LEED AP, will handle health care and life sciences-related development, brokerage and agency leasing operations.

Bringing nearly 30 years of professional experience, Wittenberg has been active in the fields of health care, life sciences, development, as well as sales and leasing. Prior to joining Transwestern, Wittenberg held the position of executive vice president at Signorelli Co.’s health-care and life science division, where he served clients from the Northeast Houston corridor. Throughout his career, Wittenberg has worked in research and development markets nationwide and represented clients throughout the Southeast and Southwest regions of the country in a variety of real estate capacities.

“Tom has worked with some of the world’s top bioscience research companies, providing him keen insight into their real estate requirements,” National Healthcare Director Eric Johnson said in a prepared statement.
