Trimark Properties Appoints New Director of Development and Construction

In his new position, Bryan Harrington will oversee Trimark’s commercial development in Gainesville and the Innovation Square Area.

Gainesville, Fla.Trimark Properties recently appointed a new director of development and construction. Bryan Harrington will provide executive leadership to the development team and oversee land and building development for Trimark’s Gainesville commercial real estate division. Harrington will also oversee development in their niche commercial market in Innovation Square, which is located between the Univeristy of Florida campus and downtown Gainesville.

“I’m excited to join Trimark for many reasons,” said Harrington in prepared remarks. “I believe in their vision of redevelopment for the commercial real estate area between UF campus and downtown Gainesville, and I’m encouraged by the sustainable approach taken, which benefits all parties.”

Prior to this, Harrington worked as the VP of Project Development at Parrish-McCall Constructors. He managed various pre-construction jobs throughout the North Florida region, including projects for the City of Gainesville and University of Florida. This area of expertise provides him with a unique perspective on the challenges that commercial projects encounter during the development and permitting processes in the Innovation Square area.

One of his current projects includes the construction of the Nimbus office building. Located at the edge of UF Innovation Square, the Nimbus building is one of the first projects to be developed from-the-ground-up in Innovation Square, and it has many eco-friendly features that are currently in high demand. Harrington will also work on the redevelopment of a prime commercial retail parcel on West University Avenue, one of the highest trafficked roads in the city. Trimark is customizing this building for Tera Insights, a tech company that will be moving into Innovation Square.
