Visitors to the Northeast Ohio area now have two more hotels to choose from. The new Hyatt Place Canton and the newly renovated Residence Inn by Marriott Cleveland Independence offer together more than 220 rooms.
Hyatt Place, Hyatt Hotels Corp. and TMI Hospitality announced the opening of the Hyatt Place Canton earlier this month. The new hotel has 105 rooms and is located in the Belden Village shopping area of Canton.
“We are very excited to bring the Hyatt Place brand to Canton,” Jack Butler, the hotel’s general manager, said in a statement for the press. Hyatt Place Canton was designed for both business and leisure travelers, and offers numerous amenities, including free Wi-Fi, a fitness center and a coffee bar. It also includes 1,027 square feet of meeting space.
Earlier this month, Noble Investment Group announced it has completed the renovation of the Residence Inn by Marriott Cleveland Independence, in the heart of the Greater Cleveland area. The company did not reveal the cost of the project.
The Residence Inn by Marriott Cleveland Independence features 118 rooms and more than 800 square feet of meeting space. Amenities include a business center, a fitness center and a pool. According to Noble, the renovation project turned the hotel’s suites into upscale guestrooms, with updated kitchens, more natural light and expansive workspaces. The public spaces have also been redesigned.
