Lillibridge Health Services Inc. is about to start work on a $40 million, 250,000-square-foot medical office building on the campus of the new $350 million Woman’s Hospital in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Lillibridge is a wholly owned subsidiary of Ventas Inc.

The entire campus, including the medical office building, will be owned by Woman’s Hospital. The medical office building will be physically connected to Woman’s Hospital and is slated to house a comprehensive breast center, maternal-fetal medicine center, infrastructure for an ambulatory surgery center, retail space and other potential outpatient services.

According to Lillibridge chairman and CEO Todd Lillibridge, the building will play a role in advancing medical care for women and infants for years to come.

The campus is being built at Airline Highway and Pecue Lane in Baton Rouge. It is about five miles from the current Woman’s Hospital campus, which is being replaced by the new facility.
