Vista Capital Closes Financing for Hampton Inn

The 91-key hotel is located only 25 miles from Chicago.

Chicago—Vista Capital Co. has closed a $9.3 million non-recourse, fixed-rate loan for the Hampton Inn & Suites at 8936 Calumet Ave. in Munster, Ind.

The 10-year financing agreement will partly fund a PIP that is near completion. A European-based investment bank won the competitive bidding process.

“Vista has now financed a dozen hotels in Indiana over the last six years,” Zak Selbert, founding principal at Vista Capital, said in prepared remarks.

Opened in 2004, the 91-key hotel is located only 25 miles from Chicago just off I-94 in a wealthy suburb. Property amenities include a fitness center, a pool, as well as a space of 864 square feet for meetings and events for up to 55 guests.
